Alike: a UK app based peer support community for people with cancer.

Andy's Man Club: are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free to attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. 

Beads of Courage UK: empowering children to tell their stories of courage through colourful beads that represent their treatment journey. The oncology/haematology programme supports ages 0 through to 24. 

The Brain Tumour Charity: run young adult events for those 16-30 and living with, or beyond, a brain tumour diagnosis to meet others that understand.

Breathing Space: offer a free, confidential, phone and webchat service for anyone in Scotland over the age of 16 experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety.

Different Minds: information service and resources from Scottish Government written in partnership with autistic people.

Family Lives: family support services offered through helpline, live chat and email support

Headspace: an app which offers (some paid for services) meditation, stress relieving exercises, sleep sounds and coaching

Impact Arts: transforming people's lives through participation in creative activities. They use creative engagement to build people's confidence and empower them to achieve their potential.

Lifelink: wellbeing and counselling services for young people. Offer one to one and group sessions.

National Autistic Society: provide a range of services and support for Scotland’s autistic people and their families

NHS Inform: information to help identify, treat and manage mental health problems and disorders

Penumbra Mental Health: a charity providing dedicated services for people with mild to serious and enduring mental ill health. They support people on their journey to better mental health, by working with each person to find their own way forward. 

RadioTherapy: this series of podcasts has been created by a group of young people with cancer sharing their lived experiences. You can hear powerful, authentic and detailed descriptions of how cancer has impacted their education, employment, friendships and wider relationships.

Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH): operate over 70 services in communities across Scotland, providing mental health social care support, addictions and employment services, among others. Together with national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, and physical activity and sport, these services inform SAMH’s policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Scottish Autism: aim to enable autistic people to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives as valued members of the community. They share their knowledge and expertise with parents, carers and other professionals in order to support the development of skills and strategies needed to provide the best care and support for autistic people.

Scottish Forestry: Branching Out is an outdoor therapeutic programme for adults who use mental health services in Scotland. The service consists of 3 hours of woodland activities per week for a group of 12 participants delivered over a 3 month period. 

Shout 85258: a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone who is struggling to cope. Those aged 25 or under and are experiencing any painful emotion or are in crisis,  can text THEMIX to 85258.

Team Jak: offer emotional, social and practical support for children and young people with cancer, their family, friends and those bereaved and for families dealing with cancer. 

Teens Unite: tailored activities, stays, and programmes supporting young people aged 13-24 to live positively with cancer, and navigate the years that follow

Tom's Trust: is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to providing psychological support to children with brain tumours and their families. By supporting the whole family, they aim to help create their brightest possible future beyond diagnosis.

Young Minds: provides young people with reassurance and advice to help them make positive choices for their mental health and know what to do next if they are struggling.
